Garuda
Created by James D’Silva, the Garuda Method is a dynamic movement system that blends elements of Pilates, yoga, dance, and tai chi. The method is designed to improve strength, flexibility, and posture, while focusing on fluid, multidimensional movement.
Garuda uses mat, barre or specialized equipment and a unique range of movements to target deep muscle groups, improve joint mobility, and enhance body awareness. It is both challenging and restorative, offering a full-body workout that strengthens and stretches in equal measure.
About me
Hello, I’m Clara, a proud French mom of two beautiful girls and a passionate Pilates instructor based in Bangkok year-round, and offering summer classes in Comporta, Portugal.
For the past 16 years, Asia has been my home, and it’s where my journey with Pilates began back in 2010. My first Pilates training was truly life-changing. It opened my eyes to the transformative power of mindful movement, and from that moment on, I’ve been fully dedicated to exploring and teaching this incredible practice.
Over the years, I’ve continued deepening my knowledge through extensive training in areas like Fascia movement, pre and postnatal Pilates, and the Garuda method. These teachings have all expanded my understanding of how our bodies move, recover, and thrive.
There’s something incredibly fulfilling about guiding others on their personal journeys of transformation. Whether it’s helping students, in Bangkok or Comporta, improve their strength, flexibility, or simply find balance in their lives, I am honored to be a part of their growth.
